A hero bladed version of the Darth Maul lightsaber prop hilt used by Ray Park in the Star Wars prequel film, Episode One: The Phantom Menace. Many variants of this prop were produced for the the film including non-bladed hilts, hilts fitted with a single threaded rod to attach a blade for the duel with Qui-Gon on Tatooine, hilts fitted with two threaded rods for when Maul’s saber has both blades ignited, and both hero versions with all of the knobs and buttons molded in and dueling stunt versions with all the knobs and buttons sanded down to allow Ray Park to quickly and easily spin the saber during combat. This prop is made of resin around a metal core with metal end caps on each end. There were no fully metal/machined versions of this prop used in filming.
